7월 1일 부터 운전중 Cell Phone 을 사용하지 못하도록 되어 있어서
Torrance Police Dept. 에 Ham Radio 의 사용에 관한 질의서를
보낸바 있는데 오늘에야 답신을 받았습니다.
아래의 규정에 의하면 새로운 Cell Phone 사용 규정에 적용되지 않으며
관련 서류를 본인에게 보내주기로 하였습니다.

Dear Dr. Pae (K6PAE),


I am sorry for the delay in returning your e-mail. We did some research and it appears that HAM radio operation is not covered under the new cell phone law. I spoke with the California Highway Patrol LA Division and was advised that HAM radio operation is exempt from the new cell phone law. They will be sending me the documentation to support that. When I obtain that documentation, I will forward that to you also.
